per retail vehicle sold Advertising Fee. Advertising Fees are used to develop and produce advertising and marketing programs
designed to maximize general public recognition and acceptance of the brand and enhance the collective business of all Thrifty
Car Sales dealerships operating under the system. |

Do I have to make changes to my existing location? |

Because we require strict compliance to the Thrifty Car Sales image standards, all locations must be brought into image compliance before opening. Our Image and Standards staff will assist Thrifty Car Sales dealers with design and planning services, including architectural drawings and signage specifications to make conversion or implementation as easy as possible. |

Do you provide Floorplan Financing and Retail Financing? |

No, however, we have placed strong emphasis on securing agreements with a wide variety of automotive floorplan and retail lenders. Qualified Thrifty Car Sales dealers will have access to floorplan and retail financing from a host of providers, including those who have historically served only new car dealers. |

Are there inventory standards a Thrifty Car Sales dealer is required to meet? |

Yes. The actual inventory of cars required to begin operating will vary depending upon the size of the market served and the nature of your location, but in no case will be less than 50 units. Ninety percent (90%) of the inventory offered for sale must be six model years old or newer with less than 80,000 miles; 50% must be one to three model years old with less than 45,000 miles. Additionally, ninety percent (90%) of the vehicle inventory offered for sale must be certified under the procedures defined by our Thrifty Certified® program and must offer a 3 month / 3,000 mile limited warranty (or greater, if required by law) or equivalent remaining factory warranty. |

Will I be able to purchase vehicles coming out of the Thrifty Car Rental fleet? |

Yes. Through the Thrifty Vehicle Remarketing and Supply Group, our dealers currently have the opportunity to purchase both Thrifty Car Rental and Dollar Rent A Car fleet vehicles, when available. These vehicles are comprised primarily of Chrysler product. Additionally, our Vehicle Supply Group is actively involved in wholesaling, providing our dealers with another resource for finding vehicles. Our Vehicle Supply Group works to acquire a broad spectrum of vehicles from auto auctions, corporate fleet departments, leasing companies, financial institutions, other retail chains, cyber lots and large fleet remarketing inventories to help our dealers find the vehicles they need. Drawing on this resource, our dealers have the opportunity to focus more on selling cars, while we focus on finding them. |
